British business mogul Rikkard Ambrose has departed London to face his arch-rival in a deadly game of espionage and intrigue at the Royal Court of France, leaving his lady love behind to knit socks and twiddle her thumbs. Left behind alone? That is not something Lilly Linton is willing to put up with! Determined to show her boss who's boss, she embarks on her most dangerous adventure yet, armed with the most powerful weapon of all: love-and, just in case, her trusted revolver. The 5th volume of Robert Thier's award-winning Storm and Silence series.

"Life isn't fair" Aliya understood that when she was left alone to live with her not-so-loving aunt and her cousin best friend Gul. Even though her life wasn't perfect she was happy with what she'd got as long as she kept her secrets locked away. When she takes a seat next to a bizarre good looking violinist Shahwaiz in her new music class, she expects the usual. But what she doesn't realize is that he is not the cliché bad boy. The more she is drawn to his music like a moth, the more she suspects he is hiding away secrets darker and more dangerous than her own. So will it be harmony that brings them dangerously together or will it be hate that tears them further apart?

"Modern civilization has made woman a little wiser, but it has increased her suffering because of man's covetousness. The woman of yesterday was a happy wife, but the woman of today is a miserable mistress. In the past she walked blindly in the light, but now she walks open-eyed in the dark. She was beautiful in her ignorance, virtuous in her simplicity, and strong in her weakness. Today she has become ugly in her ingenuity, superficial and heartless in her knowledge. Will the day ever come when beauty and knowledge, ingenuity and virtue, and weakness of body and strength of spirit will be united in a woman?" - Kahlil Gibran, Broken Wings

Since ages, Poetry served as a medium for expressing deep feelings. We find infinite subjects within ourselves, but sometimes people around us provide us and guide us to a subject that then strike our senses and our fingers itches to write to express what we feel and what we see. Thanks to all the people around me who gave me inspiration to write and who urged me to write, I was able to create something.
