We know how the Hunger Games goes- Katniss volunteers for her younger sister and wins the games, escapes the Quell, and wins the rebellion. Well guess what, that never happened. Not in this account, anyways. Instead, Katniss never volunteered for Prim, and our little brave Primrose Everdeen won the games at age 12 and escapes the Quarter Quell. But it's not over. This is Prim's story, Mockingjay: Prim. This is a fan-fiction based on the novel "Mockingjay" by Suzanne Collins. *I do not own any rights to the characters, ideas, plot, dialogue, and whatsoever. All rights go to Suzanne Collins, the author of the original book, Mockingjay This is just a fan-fiction of the book. If you haven't read the books (or watched the movies), this might be a bit hard to understand.* ©2016 illiterate-writer

What if Katniss didn't volunteer. What if she died in the games. What if Gale was reaped. What if Peeta had died. What if Prim was in love with Peeta. What if Katniss never pulled out the nightlock. What if Katniss had chosen Gale. What if. Plot twists for The Hunger Games. ***warning*** they almost always end in death or tragedy. *unfortunately all characters belong to Suzanne Collins*

When the laws of the Hunger Games were laid out, they dictated that every twenty-five years the anniversary would be marked by a Quarter Quell. It would call for a glorified version of the Games to make the fresh the memory of those killed by the districts' rebellion. Now we honor our fourth Quarter Quell. On the one hundredth anniversary, as a reminder to the rebels that the Dark Days only served to tear their families apart, each district will be required to send two sets of siblings. The new government that came with the rebellion Katniss started has been overthrown. President Snow's granddaughter is ruling Panem now, and she has proven to be more ruthless than he ever was. Katniss and Peeta were publicly executed after the Capitol took over again, and District 13 was completely obliterated. Since then, the Hunger Games have been harsher than ever. This Quarter Quell promises to be the worst Games since the rebellion. This story is being entered in the 2015 Wattys! Comment and vote and read please!

Have you ever wondered what the first Hunger Games was like? There are quite a few inconsistencies that I am working on changing at the moment, I also plan to lengthen some chapters. Please wait to read this book until it has been re-titled as 'The 1st Ever Hunger Games - Updated'. This process shouldn't take too long now. Thanks for being patient with me.

This is a fan-fiction story based on the novel "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins. *Disclaimer: I do not own any rights to the characters, ideas, plot, dialogue, and whatsoever.
