They smothered him too much for his wicked little mind to handle... ~>•<~ After the bloody murder of those closest too him, Gerard Way found himself in solitary confinement at the only remaining asylum. As the maximum security patient, he was locked away from the world. Until a new arrival, struggling with the deepest, darkest depression, stumbled across the locked door to his separate ward. By the powers of his manipulation, will be able to befriend the new arrival and carry out his manic plan? Or will his own intentions destroy the dwindling sanity left in his mind.

!! i wrote this forever ago so don't read unless you really want to cringe to death ¡¡ Frank is a screw up. All he sees are scars and mistakes. Him. He's a mistake. It's over. He wants it to be. Gerard wants to help Frank. To fix him. To be his reason to stay. Apart, they are freaks but together they're happy and actually worth something. Can Gerard help Frank or is Frank too far gone?

"You don't tell anyone what happened unless you wanna end up like that kid" --- Frank was shy and timid and didn't really bother anybody until one day when he walked into the wrong place at the wrong time. Then his life was pretty much threatened by one of the most dangerous kids in school. Gerard got mad easily-and when he got mad, you would fear for your life (well, probably not literally) but he was dangerous and got mad easily and all the time. Maybe it got out of hand when he wound up putting an innocent kid in the hospital almost killing him. Everyone scared of Gerard. Except maybe one kid. (Sorry, I just had to write another one; even though I know I'll regret it)

Those brown eyes stared up into Frank's unwavering gaze. Frank's eyes held no emotion as he twisted the knife, causing the man underneath him to let out a whimper, a warm liquid staining Frank's hand.

“I’m… I-I I’m sorry…” that’s the only thing I manage to choke out. Nobody ever caught me self harming. “You’re always so fucking sorry Gee. Save it, it doesn’t change anything.” He says and his hand wraps around my arm again. “Can I? Please?” he asks, puppy eying me again. This time, I don’t resist. I let him pull my sleeve up, and see all of the burns. He frowns and looks me in the eyes again. “What am I going to do with you…” he shakes his head and pulls me into a hug. That’s good, I can admit I actually needed it. I rest my head on his shoulder and close my eyes.

Gerard Way is a virgin. A pathetic, gay, red-haired little virgin. But he was okay with that. People in school avoided him, hell, they didn't even know who he was, and that was how it was. Until a good 'friend' of Gerard's started a rumor. A rumor that was bound to destroy everything Gerard had come to know, and even a little more in the process. Nothing good could come out of this situation, or so Gerard thought. But a certain boy with converse and a lip piercing would beg to differ. (Ok I suck at writing intros. The story will be better, I promise...)

Gerard graduates High School and moves out of his mother's house. He's applied to an Art College and got in. Gerard Way is curious about the abandoned house just outside of town. It has always captured his attention ever since he can remember. Every time he asks about it people say "it's haunted" or "it's empty" or "why are you even worried about a stupid, old house?" Gerard Way is the school's Norman Bates. He's freaky, he acts like he's constantly anticipating something, and he does taxidermy. People fear him, and quite honestly, he gets off on it. There are so many bad rumors circulating about him that even he isn't sure which ones are true. Meanwhile, Frank Iero has a reputation for himself. He's an idiot. A comedic one, especially with his friend James, but an idiot. He once came to school high off his ass and passed his math exam with flying colors. It was a dumb move, but an entertaining one.
