By the time I reached P.E. after lunch on Monday, it was tipping over the edge of eighty degrees, and my red hoodie had been stuffed in the back of my locker since Brunch. I'd lost count of how many people had gaped at my arm with shocked expressions and open mouths, curious voices unsure of whether or not they wanted to know the answer asking, "Did you cut your arm?" By third period, I'd gotten so fucking sick of repeating the same excuse that my sarcastic asshole side had leaked out. So, I'd been responding to my classmates appalled questions with something along the lines of, "Yes, I cut myself." There was a kind of sick humor to it - technically, I was telling the truth. Jack Barakat of All Time Low gets into a fight with his long time boyfriend, which ends in him being kicked out of their apartment and needing a place to go. Jack calls his band mate and best friend in the world, Alex Gaskarth, he'd be sure to help him out. But it just so happens Alex is the boy Jack has been thinking about for as long as he could remember. How is this gonna play out? Will Jack pursue his feelings now that he's got the chance? Or will he be decent and leave Alex alone because he has a girlfriend? Warning: There may be smut, I'm not sure yet. We'll see if the need arises. Also there will be cuss words and sexual conversations so be prepared for that stuff.

His whole life Alex Gaskarth was sure he was straight, but when the famous singer and guitar players band, All Time Low, head out on the Future Hearts Tour, things become a lot more complicated when he begins developing feelings he doesn't understand for his best friend, Jack Barakat. Jack's been gay and out his entire life, and has been harboring his feelings for the singer since they were younger. But the real question of this toxic mess is will Alex man up and express his feelings for the guitar player?

Jalex. It's real, everyone knows it. Jack and Alex can't deny it anymore, especially after a serious issue arises between the two of them. That issue soon grows into something more than the two of them had ever thought possible, and really, it bring Jack and Alex closer together; it makes them one.

An alternate universe Jalex based in high school where i attempt to make the story line original and cute, but it's all a matter of opinion really, i can't brainwash you into gushing over cuddles. No Jock vs Nerd cliches here, just two neighbors who eventually fall in love. Sound's pretty straight forward, right? But do you dare to believe me, or is there more than what meets the eye? (The actual Jalex begins at about 7, the chapters are kind of short and it's always hinted before then but if you're not that patient then i thought you might want to know ^__^) (Written in the constant P.O.V of Alex, but Jack is mentioned in basically every chapter so you won't have to keep up with the constant switch)

Alex is a troublemaker, yet he doesn't want to be. It's just that when people get too close, or too personal for his comfort, he snaps. Events of his past have left him afraid of almost any physical contact, and other people in general. He's trying to mend his broken life, and is offered a fresh start after being expelled from his last school. Jack, on the other hand, is depressed. He feels worthless, like a waste of life and space, and has just about the lowest self-esteem possible. He's searching for the affection and comfort he so desperately needs. The meet at a bus stop one day, but are torn apart when Alex has to suddenly run off, without even giving the boys a chance to exchange names. Half a year later, the pair is reunited, when Jack is assigned to be Alex's tour guide on his first day at Dulaney High. Their feelings for one another quickly grow, though they're confused about where, exactly, the relationship is headed. Can the two boys help each other? Are they enough?

Jack is fourteen Alex is seventeen Alex is forced to babysit Jack for a week while the younger ones parents are gone on a vacation. The two go from hating each other to nearly loving each other in a matter of days. ©McDougallBooty 2014©
