Andy's mom is diagnosed with lung cancer and his Dad, well his Dad isn't there for both of them during this sad time. Andy's bullied in school and he has very little friends to talk to or look up to. What happens when the new kid Ashley Purdy comes into town? Will he save Andy from himself, or will he be to late to save this troubled boy?

Welcome to a place where the Light has fallen in love with the Darkness, instead of battling against it and everyone gets a storybook love story. Welcome to a place where people bear marks to distinguish whether they belong on the side of the darkness or the light, so they can live serenely with their other half. Andy Biersack's not waiting for his story to unravel, he has no reason to. After all, there re more important things for him to worry about, surviving under a government sworn to wipe out any form of abnormality for example.
