Crime-solving with eccentric aristocrats. Chasing dragons through the sky. Grisly murders in an opera house. Tallison didn't expect all this to happen her senior year, but when your school's founder is the one dragging you off on adventures, it can be hard to say no. *Feedback appreciated* Barrowby's School for Psychic Girls is an episodic fantasy steampunk adventure novel. In an ideal world, it would be a wacky cartoon, but you'll just have to survive me writing it instead. As always, feel free to comment on what you like, dislike, and think could be improved! Special thanks to @Herogue_Knight!

It may feel good to be pretty, but the problem with being beautiful is that there are thousands of people who look like you. Ugliness, however, is unique. ------------------- One girl, a walking-talking example of contradictions -- ambitious but naive, kind but blunt, social but awkward -- is living in perhaps the most competitive society in this world. She has a dream, a fairly conventional and acceptable dream, one which every parent would approve of. Unfortunately, millions of others share this dream, and in order to fulfill hers, she has to eliminate her competition, literally. Throw in a fair share of drama. Friends and family, crushes and exes, decisions and choices, and the life story of an Indian teenager would be complete. ---------------------- The last few years of school are the most memorable; grades, stress and career mixed with friends, fun and dreams. But most of the time when we are planning our awesome candid picture-perfect life, we end up crossing the 'i's and dotting the 't's. ------------------------------------ COMPLETED ON JULY 14, 2018 Featured in the teen fiction reading list of Wattpad India! Perpetual virginity is a practice in the Church that can never be renounced nor abandoned. It is a lifelong vow, that when broken can result in the offender being sentenced to death. Isabella de Medici took the vow mere weeks before her arranged marriage- a decision that would change her, the Medici name, and history forever. ::::Cover by @ThaisaKing:::: ::::Praise for "Perpetual Virginity":::: "I just wanted to point out this is very well written and quite interesting. Why is it that stories like these don't get enough attention?" -Jubilee1920 "It's really well written and I'm excited to read more!" -grangered "[the author] did well, in my opinion, to show that Christianity in those times are not at all a religious entity but more like a political one. I myself have read many historical fiction novels that talk about the corruption of the Church. Bribery for excommunication and etc. The pope here seems okay though, so perhaps [the author is] targeting the institution itself, that the amount of power it wields has made it corrupt. " -syllabuspearl "I have read and reread this multiple times up to [this update point]. I love it and can't wait to see where it goes." -aana_aana "This book deserves to get published, it's rare to find gems like this on wattpad" -ThaisaKing "I really enjoyed reading it more than I ever anticipated, all I need to say is that I will add it my library to read it later with the rest!" -anwaAlsa
