One night in the lab with a mirror triggers something that starts the process of John's fall. Is he being haunted, or has he just lost his mind? Elena, John's wife, is supportive of John and his research, but slowly begins to resent him due to neglect and his obsession. To make matters worse, Elena begins to fall for Luke, a young man who she met through work. Things get hairy, and eventually all is exposed, sending John down a path he can not return from.
