Her parents never allow her out and everything is tinted black to keep the sun out, worst part is that she's going to die either way and to think all of this at the age of eight. Meet Cara Smith, a pediatric nurse that is assigned to Abigail. Erythropoietic protoporphyria is her specialty, especially in keeping the kids happy during their dark and gloomy life. She has ways to make sure that they are happy, will she be successful with Abigail? What happens when Cara finds out that the only thing that Abigail wants is to be in the sun one more time? She knows that she'll die soon anyways so what's the point of not doing it. Will she be able to convince Cara that it's a good idea?
