It started out as a joke to avoid another one of “those” girls his parents had set him up with but turned into something so much more. Liam Hart is a rich do-what-ever-he-wants-because-he-can kind of guy. He lives on the East Coast in a small well to do town in North Carolina. He is used to doing what ever he wants and never dealing with the consequences. Whenever his parents set him up with do goody good girls he pretends he’s dying, or deaf, or like on his next date, blind. Jennifer Donald is rich. But she believes in hard work and doing the right thing. Her parents think if they set her up she will fall in love with the first rich kid to give her flowers but she isn’t going to fall in love with just anybody. She wants someone good, someone who believes what she does and she doesn’t want some guy who thinks he can buy his way to happiness. What happens when these two opposite are thrown together? Will they fall in love or will their story have a tragic ending before it even gets started? But maybe just this once Liam realizes he’s gone to far.
