After Ash beats Alain in the Kalos League, Ash has won the Kalos Leauge. He's given the chance from Diantha to come back in a little bit to challenge her and the Elite Four. Meanwhile, Lysandre has witnessed the strange occurrence of Ash-Greninja, and has invited Ash and his friends to his lab so he could research the occurrence. Meanwhile, Alain meets back up with Mairin, who has been waiting for him, and they reunite. Even though all seems well, no one realizes the truth that Lysandre is hiding from them... *I know that this series has ended. The average teenage girl, with the slightest fangirlly attitude towards one boy... him. Alain. He hates the spotlight, and his anxiety and depression only makes it worse for him. So does the fact that he is almost always in the spotlight. Girls love how "edgy" he is, unknowing of why... Ash. He has always been the most popular. His ego shines brighter than a supernova just waiting to explode reflecting off of clear, reflective water. Basically he has the biggest ego in the world, and girls love it... for some reason.

Mairin has been anything but loved. All her life, she's been called worthless, ugly, she's been told to die and not to live anymore... Her own mother disowned her, her father left them for another woman. Mairin only has her grandma to rely on, the only person whose heart is kind enough to help heal the scars her daughter left on her granddaughter. Mairin's grandma is slowly getting older by the day. Mairin is now 16 and keeps relying on her grandma. Her grandma decides it's time for Mairin to experience the world. She sends her to this school where pupils are taught about life and how to be prepared for it. Whilst being there, Mairin meets the good looking but gloomy Alain who is anything but nice. He's cold hearted and his past is similar to Mairin's. Once he realises that, the two begin to get closer and feel their hearts begin to give them feelings, they didn't know is possible for them. Love. Being there she befriends Serena Amour, whose life has been everything a girl could want.. but finds herself having to live up to her parents expectations... May Maple- Her life is as sad as it comes... she's been abused, sexually harassed, she's even lost limbs... But shes still here... Her best friend Drew is the only one who knows how to make her smile. Dawn Hikari-The princess of the school and the one who has made Mairin's life a living hell. She gets what she wants, when she wants. She's set on making people's lives a living hell, only because shes been raised that well, to trample on people as if they're dirt. How will Mairin find happiness again? Will she and Alain find love? Or will Mairin be Dawn's doll forever?

Alain and Mairin have been married for over two years, and they have been trying for their first child for at least one year but to no avail. Mairin goes out for a walk, but doesn't come home until a worried Alain finds her in the cold, rainy streets of Lumiose City.

Alain is having a hard time after the events in Lumiose City. While everyone enjoys the fireworks at Prism Tower Mairin decides to take this time to cheer him up. [One-Shot]
