Percy hasn't been the same since the Giant War. He has been changed, and it's not for the better. When he stumbles into the Avengers' arms, they have trouble getting along and sharing their pain. However, they know Percy is not well and will do anything to help him. This story deals with heavy topics and Percy does not just get over them within the first few chapters and skips happily into the sunset with the Avengers. This deals with pain and hardships. This can be very cliche at first. But please read at least ten chapters before deciding. It gets better as it goes, just like any book. It was also written before Spider-Man: Homecoming, The Magnus Chase series, and Trials of Apollo. Completed!

A nice, relaxing, day at the beach; a romantic movie and dinner with Annabeth. Those were my plans before Gandalf's twin, mini me, and a couple others arrived at my door, asking for Perseus Riddle. Now I have to go to some school named after a pig's disease. It's not that great in the beginning but gets better, and then becomes not that great at all, but then becomes really awesome. After the war with Gaea Percy just wants to be left alone and have nothing to do with the gods ever again. Why? You will have to find out...... Meanwhile Nick Fury is well, furious. Everything's different now, after the Giant War. So even after arriving home Percy can't tell anyone the truth; not his mom, not his new, rather odd, neighbor, not the friends that he's afraid to be close to. But the truth always hurts and somehow, the truth always shows. Maybe it's a good thing that his new neighbor, Peter Parker, is just a little too observant. Or maybe it isn't. Meanwhile the world is changing. New threats have risen and been defeated. But people are disappearing, people are dying. And even the people who are supposed to be heroes can't stop this. But that's sort of the point. Now though the darkness which Peter has always managed to keep at an arm's length is right outside his front door. Right inside it. Peter can't lose anyone else. Percy can't lose anyone else. Both are sure that if they do they're bound to lose themselves. Now though loss isn't and if but a when. Not a when but how much. Neither of them plan on getting out of this one. Both are sure that there must be someone at fault. But innocence and guilt mean nothing in this blame game, because with all this hurt, with all this death, with all this pain, isn't everyone somehow to blame? And maybe they aren't so different, Peter and Percy. Maybe they can find a way to work together, fight together, stop this together. Maybe together they can find a way to get out of this one, find a way to save even those who don't want to be saved. Or maybe they can't.
