And when she met his fiery gaze, Emma knew she was doomed. She had no chance but to surrender to this devil that was tempting her, pushing her towards something that - she was well aware - would be difficult to give up on once set in motion.

You had a knack for making me invested in one paragraph therefore surprising me in the next. I loved that. the thrill, the suspense, the shock and pain. And because you made it first person pov, the reader could relate or maybe even see themselves in Ellie's life. I am looking forward for the sequel.
