Regina Mills fled from New York as soon as she graduated college and hid herself in a small town in the midwest, where her mother and her past would (hopefully) never find her. She became a teacher at an elementary school and adopted a baby boy. Robin Locksley moved to America from England after his wife left him with a five-year-old son. He was wary about moving to a small town practically in the middle of nowhere, but all of his worries go away when he meets his new co-workers.

One night, Regina is interrupted by a knock on the door. It turns out that it's her new neighbor that has just moved in across the street. She invites him in her house for a drink and they introduce themselves to each other. Everything is good until they start developing feelings for eachother?

Regina and Robin meet when they're teenagers and they start developing a friendship, but as time goes on that friendship develops into something else. Those feelings only seem to get interrupted the moment Regina has to move because of family issues. Years later she comes back and gets a job at a very prestigious company only to then find out that her childhood friend is her employer. Will the feelings that they once thought they buried long ago come to the surface once again, or will they realize that it was all just child's play?

It has been three months since Robin died and everyone in Storybrooke is finally starting to move on with their lives, and no one wants to do that more than Regina. However, being constantly reminded of the love she lost is making that particularly difficult. When something happens, forcing them all to relive that fateful day, lives will be forever altered in ways previously thought impossible. Regina and those closest to her must somehow find a way to accept what has happened in order to retrieve lost memories and return more than one happy ending, including her own. .
