Athena Bentley is one of the twelve girls chosen to become a Starkeeper, the highest ranking official who controls the people of her community. The Starkeepers are the secret police of Celes, and they protect and watch over every citizen in their little city. When Athena notices a threat in the system, all of the Starkeepers must go out and fight the kink, risking their sanity but more importantly, their lives.
