After being stripped of her memories of the Shadow World, Clary Fairchild goes on by living the life she has always wanted. One where she has the ability express herself through her art. After realizing Clary can see him, he leaves and tries to fight his urges to see her again. As days pass, Clary begins creating things differently than she usually does, paintings that are no longer abstract but of beings and places. Day and night, Clary continues painting until she feels a hint of familiarity after she makes a portrait of Jace and tries to make sense of it. She decides to try to find him, hoping that his presence can give her the answer and fill the void inside her.

On Alec and magnus' wedding day there started to be a small bit of tension. But this isn't all that goes wrong. Jace brings back a blast from the past and then the wedding continues. someone clary loves the most turns up dead. Jace goes missing, mundanes turn up dead, Luke is covered in blood.
