But what happens when Alec one day finds a number written in one of his favourite novels? Will he put his shy personality away and text the number, or will he act like it isn't there? Magnus Bane is 19 years old and openly bisexual. Together with his abusive stepfather, he lives in an old apartment in Brooklyn where he has been living since the day his mother died. Besides everything that Magnus has to go through at home, his life is pretty boring. But what happens when a unknown number texts him, and has it something to do with the fact that Magnus wrote down his number in one of his favourite novels? Will Magnus answer or is he afraid to open up to more people that might break his heart? This is an AU = which basically means that there are no Shadowhunters, demons or Warlocks. The age different between Alec and Magnus is only 1 year (which it definitely not is in the show, just saying) The adorable Magnus Bane and the hot Alexander Lightwood owns by the extraordinary show called Shadowhunters?

Alec has been having nightmares, and they're only getting worse. His instincts tell him to tell someone, but his gut refrains. Magnus is clueless about it all and slowly creates a strain on their relationship. -takes place in a different timeline from the one the books, to show and movie are set in, some aspects from the original source material may be added in- note- for simplicity the characters are based on those of the tv adaptation.
