When Elsie moved from her small town in Illinois to escape the people in it, she meets a certain guy on her plane ride to live with her aunt in Australia. Accompanied by her best friend Lily, Elsie is thrown into the fast line with Michael and his three other band mates. Neither know what their going to do when the summer ends, but until then, they have each other.

The lights went out and I was turned towards Michael. My eyes started to adjust and then I could see he was staring at me too. In the pitch black darkness, I was able to see his smile. At that moment, "butterflies in my stomach", was no longer a phrase anymore. It was a feeling. I rolled over, nervous. After a minute he wrapped his arm around me, leaned in close and whispered, "I really like you." I nodded my head and I really hoped he could tell. I hope that he meant what I think he did.
