It's a special night in all girl's lives, Prom Night, a night that takes weeks of preparation and for Erica Sanders it was no different, except, when she left the house and her parents, for prom, she was wearing one thing and when she arrived at the event, something entirely different. You see, Erica wanted tonight to be special, perfect, unforgettable, her dream, and for her parents to know what she had planned would ruin it. They would most likely NEVER have allowed her to attend the way she had been planning for months. This was her night, her debut, her chance to express who she wanted to define herself as and nothing was going to get in her way; not her parent's idea about her, nothing. The only other person who knew Erica's plans was her best friend and next door neighbor, Rachel, who had been helping her plan this night for months. Now the night is here and everything is going wonderfully. But, will it continue to once the night is over, she returns home and reveals to her parents her new look, the new Erica? How will it go? Will they accept the new Erica or will they reject her and insist she go back to who she was?... *This story was written by Sabrynabrooklynne on Wattpad. They tell me this is where I am supposed to tell you what this story is about. The title, a single word, "reborn". Maybe it's just enough to make you want to read the book. Probably not. Maybe the following will help convince you : Could you imagine what you would do if a simple accident, a bicycle wreck, led to you learning something potentially life altering about yourself, something that totally rocked your world and everything you thought you knew about your life, something that could totally alter the trajectory of rest of your life? Would you have the courage to make the life altering decision you are being advised to make, by those you trust, and completely reorder your future if it meant the possibility (not promise, just possibility) of a better life? What if a nagging voice in the back of your head feared the worst and kept trying to advise aginst it? © 2017 by Sabrynabrooklynne. IF this synopsis has caused you to decide to read the book, could you do me a favor and add me to one of your public reading lists? You will be helping me gain exposure and that in turn, encourages me to continue writing. Also, be sure to like and comment on each chapter. Thomas should live in a time and age where people don't care about sexuality or gender identification but that isn't true as his mother refuses to think of him as anything other than her son and Thomas. To the people important in his life, Thomas is actually Ginger and a female. She's almost done with high school and ready to get out from under her oppressive mother's thumb and live the rest of her life how she wants to. This is a story I wrote for creative writing class. I wasn't intending to publish it so I didn't think much about the title. I did take the original title of A Glass Slipper by Jackson Terrance. I really loved this title and I was sad when they changed it.
