After her mother runs away with another man, Meg and her father move to Pebble Springs, a seemingly quaint town in upstate New York. Thankful to leave the group of friends she was pulled into back home, Meg looks at the move as an opportunity. When she meets Max at school, he immediately pulls her into his group of friends, introducing her to Celia and Will, as well as the leader of the group – Robin. It's then that Meg learns what the five of these do in their spare time. Take from the rich, and give to the poor. That would be, if they could ever have a successful mission. Meg has no idea the rollercoaster that she's getting on when she agrees to join them.
