Never agree to a road trip to New Orleans with your roommate. At least not when your roommate is dragging you along while she reconnects with an ex-boyfriend. Possible consequences of failing to take my advice: 1) Unknowingly going out with a vampire stripper. 2) Getting kidnapped by said vampire's nest mates. 3) Falling head over heels for your winged hero. Believe it or not number 3 is the worst one, especially when no one believes you that he exists. *New Adult Paranormal Romance*

Does it mean I'm crazy if I think to myself? It's supposed to indicate craziness if a person talks to herself. Does the same thing apply to thinking? I suppose too many people think to themselves for the action to be described as crazy. Human definition of crazy being “not normal” and “normal” being what most people do. So I guess thinking to yourself is “normal” and not “crazy”. Naomi is the shy new girl, but after a whole lot of (admittedly self-caused) incidents, she finds herself comfortable, with a group of friends at Brook High School. It sounds normal? Well, it is most certainly not normal, not with these friends. Then Naomi comes across an idea too big to keep to herself. Is the group going to be caught, or will they pull it off? This book has some romance, some humour and more than its fair share of awkward moments.

This isn't a deep book about first loves or self-discovery. If you want a book like that, I'd be happy to recommend one, but I don't have that kind of story to tell. Instead my story is about rash decisions and finding out that your dream guy is bad in bed. It's the story of when I finally went skinny dipping, and how my life was never the same again. Oh, and it's also the story of my freshman year of college and realizing Mr. Right might have been there all along.

Bex Harmin's muse hounds her. Most writers wouldn't mind that but most writers' muses aren't as visible and vocal as Bex's muse, Adder. Adder's the aetherial embodiment of everything she's ever wanted in a man with one glaring exception. He isn't real. Not how it counts. Not that romance figures into her life at all. At her first big convention as an author, Bex has a table full of books and cool merchandise to sell. She's determined to make a name for herself until she discovers the dealers' room is overbooked and she's been crammed into the walk of fame with all the actors and famous writers where no one is interested in meeting an author they've never heard of. Except for Daniel Quick, the most famous voice actor around. Daniel takes an interest in Bex and her books and he quickens her pulse as well. It's the first time in a long time a human man's set her imagination aflame and not the aetherial being who can't leave her alone. Adder doesn't consider the competition friendly and he's out to prove there's only room for one muse in Bex's life.
