"It is your choice," he said, stepping so close to me that our lips were almost touching. "Either do what I say - or get another job." My heart stood still as I gazed up into his deep, dark, dangerous eyes... In a world where women's only role in life is to sit at home and look pretty, Lilly is determined to fight for her freedom. There's only one problem: a powerful man blocking her way.

She was always quiet- only speaking when spoken to, submissive, due to being severally abused at home. Her eyes, while a captivating shade of violet, are vacant. She is seemingly unaware of her surroundings, and not particularly caring, either. She has flawless grades- but no dreams, aspirations. She's lifeless. She hurts but won't allow others to see her vulnerable. She's quietly stoic, unresponsive even when tortured. She has a gift, a curse. It depends on how you look at it. And she seems to have piqued an interest in two very different strangers who aren't aware of her abilities, yet. Will she finally feel a spark that brings her soul to life?
