A lot of poets have come to me for advice on Wattpad. I've decided to stop critiquing so much and focus my efforts on a general guide of my knowledge, experience, and ideals that will surly benefit any aspiring Wattpad poet. A special thanks to Billy, my imaginary eager young misguided poet, for his thought provoking comments.

Come with me on a journey where I hope to explore and understand the man behind the plays as best possible; establish why his plays are so important, popular and have survived in the hearts and minds of the world for so long; and evaluate the many theories behind the highly controversial authorship arguments: Did William Shakespeare actually write all forty of the plays we attribute to him?

"i. they tell me they
cannot comprehend art. where art is, whispers reside. ii. i tell them
that the only art i need are the words that bleed onto paper. iii. they tell me it doesn't work that way. there are compromises for art. sports. science. history. iv. but i want to speak. there are moments that fleet away when i do not store them. there are impulses that dab off when i do not write. v. when i am alive, i burst
open with Slyvia Plath and Robert Frost. my hair fluffs with words. my veins cry with poetry. vi. welcome to my poetry book. i hope you drown in the words you sink in." ©theperfectphoenix Established -- [09-03-2016] Highest Rank : #2 in Poetry. Now A Wattpad Featured Book! [20-05-2016]

To the world he was a beast but for her he would do anything. He could have the world but all he wanted was her. They say the things we want most are the things we can't have. For she was so afraid of him that even the thought of him could have her running for the hills. Little did she know that she was the only one who didn't have to be afraid of him. Poetry is a fine way to tell you exactly who I am. And yet, you'd still be clueless. But of course, prove me wrong.

"It is your choice," he said, stepping so close to me that our lips were almost touching. "Either do what I say - or get another job." My heart stood still as I gazed up into his deep, dark, dangerous eyes... In a world where women's only role in life is to sit at home and look pretty, Lilly is determined to fight for her freedom. There's only one problem: a powerful man blocking her way.
