Lucas Sawyer has gotten used to being forgotten. His twin brother Mark, captain and star quarterback, everyone's favorite, gets the spotlight. Lucas doesn't drink, he doesn't smoke, he doesn't go to parties. His life is safe and logical, and that's exactly how he likes it. But when his brother's football rival and worst enemy, Damien Castillo, starts work at the same small bakery, everything changes. Damien is Lucas' worst nightmare: an arrogant heartbreaker with a bad reputation, who threatens to ruin all his careful plans. Lucas hates him. Right? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This story was inspired by @hipstateasee's "Knight", and I have her permission. Book 1 HomeLess Book 2 ReckLess Book 3 SenseLess Being homeless isn't the end of the world. At least, that's what Zachary thought when he found himself on the streets after being kicked out at seventeen. It hadn't been his fault. His father had used him as a scapegoat and won his mother over, thinking that her husband was telling the truth about his cheating and that Zachary was the one who was bringing women over, trying to ruin their marriage. He'd argued his side, but once his mother decided on something, her mind would not be changed. That's how he came to live in the alley near the end of 73rd street between the old bakery and a laundromat. It wasn't anything special, but after three years he'd managed to spruce up the place and make it almost-bearable to live in. Over the years he'd made friends with random people he often passed on the streets and did manage to hold down a few random jobs, but like everything else, they came, then went. Now he was left with fifteen dollars and twenty-two cents, a torn blanket, one outfit, and a dream for a better life. He just didn't know that he'd find it somewhere he'd never thought to look... or with someone he never knew he'd want.

{Royals and Peasants Book 1} [COMPLETED] {#1 in Paranormal: 02/09/18} "Laws are just as fragile as silence. It only takes one person to break it and change everything." Noah spent the last five years listening to the former Queen of Anicia fretting for her son who had yet to find his mate. Never in his life could he have imagined that he would be William's long awaited mate. Never did he imagine that he would find himself hiding in plain sight from his mate. He never could have thought that in this kingdom of separation and divide that his mate would accept him. This acceptance however, is not what our story is really about. It's about what follows there after. Here in Anicia, change is scarier than any great dragon. Will their love survive and be enough to convince others that the Vile Laws should be abolished? Or will they be doomed to remain as The King & the Stable Boy [Current Rank: #11 in Paranormal] Milestones: {#98 in Paranormal: 01/09/17} {#61 in Paranormal: 01/26/17} {#30 in Paranormal: 01/31/17} {#25 in Paranormal: 02/04/17} {#15 in Paranormal: 04/09/17} {#10 in Paranormal: 08/07/17} {#4 in Paranormal: 09/16/17}
