Ellie Ream always loved baseball. When she was little, she always watched baseball with her dad. When she asks her dad to teach her how to play, he takes Ellie under his wing and teaches her everything he knows. Now she's 16 and wants to try out for the baseball team at Tempe High School. Her dad is the coach, and he lets her try out. The boys on the team disagree with having a girl on the team, but Ryder Williams wants to see what she can do.
