"Peachy? One day, she and her best friend, Light Yagami, come across a strange notebook that will forever change their lives, quickly becoming the worst thing that has ever happened to them. Light begins to entertain the idea that he play God and free the world of sin, and decides Makka can be a big help. Soon, his plan of an all-good justice utopia takes a turn for the worst, when the police force and L are called in to solve the case, with it's ring leader, Light, or as he becomes known to the world, Kira. A female detective in her late 20s who goes by the name of Mirai has been given the rare privilege to be assigned to an upcoming case revolving around a group of bizarre disappearances that have been happening over the past month in a small rural town. Because of such reasons as lacking experience and knowledge the task force Mirai is on neglects any input she has towards the case. Whilst striving to prove to her fellow employees that she is worthy of this case, things take a sudden turn however when Mirai bumps into an old friend who, somehow, is also on the case. Together will they be able to solve this case, or will they die trying?

Masayo Fujimoto thought she knew what to expect when she went back to her birth country, Japan, to visit her brother Kei. What she didn't expect was a sudden unexplained acceptance into the college Light Yagami was attending. She also didn't expect to be drafted onto the Kira task force. But, when she is reunited with someone she didn't even realize she knew, things get a little out of hand. Especially when she realizes she's in love with him. But, with their time running out, can she save him before Kira reaches him and goes through with his plan? Or will it be too late for both of them. After seeing her parents die in front of her and being taken away from her older brother to be experimented on, some other things happen before Claire gets sent to Japan with a loving family until Claire's adoptive mother dies of cancer. Her adoptive father blames Claire for her death, and the small peaceful period in her life was gone.
