"I made the mistake of falling in love with my best friend, but you made the mistake of breaking her heart." ⌬⌬⌬⌬⌬ It's been over ninety-seven years since a devastating nuclear apocalypse wiped out almost all life on Earth. The only known survivors lived on twelve space stations in Earth's orbit prior to the apocalyptic event. The space stations banded together to form a single massive station called 'The Ark', where about 2,400 people live under the leadership of Chancellor Thelonious Jaha. Resources are scarce, so all crimes-regardless of their nature or severity-are punishable by ejection into space (also known as 'floating') unless the perpetrator is under 18 years of age. After The Ark's life-support systems are found to be critically failing, one-hundred juvenile prisoners are declared 'expendable' and sent to the surface, in a last-ditch attempt to determine whether Earth is habitable again, in a program called 'The 100'. The teens arrive on a drop ship on a seemingly pristine planet they have only seen from space. They attempt to find refuge and supplies at an old military installation, Mount Weather Emergency Operations Centre, located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. However, they land some distance from the intended target and soon face other problems. Confronting both the wonders and the dangers of this rugged new world, they struggle to form a tentative community. James 'Jay' Walker, a mechanical engineer on The Ark, is known for being shy and reserved, only speaking when spoken to, and doing the best he can when given a job. His job, although not always the safest, landed him in the social circles of both Finn Collins-the Spacewalker-and Raven Reyes-the daredevil mechanic. But after an incident that James couldn't have seen coming, he lands himself in the Skybox. Then soon after, a trip down to Earth. © copyright | tribecky | 2017

"The people who consider you weak have not yet noticed the wolf hiding behind your eyes, nor the flame inside your soul. Let them think you are weak and do what wolves and fire do best. Surprise them when they least expect it." ▸▸▸▸▸ It had only happened once before. Even then, people weren't sure if it had really happened. But it was the case of Sullivan O'Hara. After being thrown into a world she didn't want to be a part of, let alone truly care for, Sullivan had to learn to become someone new; something new. The first thing she did was refuse it. There wasn't a bone in her body that wanted to accept the destiny that had perched upon her shoulders like a vulture. But soon, she knew she would break under the pressure and conform to what was expected of her. Even when she had to take care of her father. It was what she was born to do. It was her life. She was a protector. © copyright | tribecky | 2017

"You don't know what it's like to love someone who only sees you as a friend," Jean told Devin with the shake of her head as they both sat side-by-side, Devin looked at her before glancing back to Alex, the smile dropping from her face, and the truth lodged a bitter taste in her mouth. "I think I do." ⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆ Being able to heal from anything doesn't mean that you can't be hurt. When Alex, accidentally, lets it slip that he was 'dating' Devin, he came to her in a panic, hoping that she'd agree to his plan of pretending to date. Mainly so Scott doesn't set him up on another terrible date, or hold it over Alex's head for the rest of his life. Regretfully agreeing is exactly what it ends up being. A regret. Devin never expected it to go that far, or for things to scratch their way up to the surface. The only way that she could deal with all these new feelings was to run. Which was exactly what she did. But that may have been an even bigger mistake. Slowly losing her mind, at first glance, didn't seem so bad. But when they haunt her day-in and night-out, losing her mind wasn't the only thing she began to lose. Being able to heal from anything doesn't mean that you can't be hurt. © copyright | tribecky | 2016

"I'm with you, no matter what obstacles we are forced to face; I'd never leave you behind, not even for a second." ✯✯✯✯✯ In 2142, overdeveloped and polluted Earth is dying. With no way to reverse the damage done to the planet, a group of scientists find a way to open a fracture in the space-time continuum. Creating a portal to prehistoric Earth, leading to a last-ditch effort to save the human race by correcting mistakes of the past. But not everyone is lucky enough to journey back in time 85 million years to Terra Nova, a colony of humans with a second chance to build a civilisation. Some are forced to stay behind; some are forced to pay the price for their actions; some are forced to stay behind because of the price of others actions. Emmy Cade never imagined that, at sixteen, she would face three men who would take her away from the only person she had left. She couldn't begin to imagine the look on her sister's face when she was taken as a prisoner for the wrong-doings someone else. She left kicking and screaming, her own voice echoing down the halls of the building she once lived in. The crime she committed? It was never her fault. Two years down the line, after being forced to stare at the same four grey walls, it began to take its toll on her. With her sister, Tanya, having to pay to just have a glimpse at her younger sister, the hope of seeing a small slither of freedom began to dwindle like the levels of clean oxygen forced through the vents of her cell. The idea of leaving the cell was reduced even more when Tanya revealed that she had been recruited for Terra Nova. Just that name itself had held a high degree of hope and sanctity in the eyes of Emmy. With another four years being sucked down the drain in the prison cell, Emmy soon realised that the only way she would be able to get out was to break out. So, that's exactly what she did. © copyright | tribecky | 2017
