A constant war has been raging on for centuries between the Guardians and the Fallen. The two are neck and neck, their abilities equal. There is only one person who can break this never-ending tied tug of war; Sora Elizabeth Jones. In a universe where the element of Fire is lacking; she is the last Fire Goddess. Sora grew up without knowledge of her family history and abilities. Now after 15 years of living a normal life, Sora’s forced to let out her inner fire and fulfill her purpose as one of a dying race. A representative from both the Fallen and Guardians come to Sora to protect her from the opposing side. And to train her until she's the best Goddess she can be. All the while trying to persuade her, which side to choose.

Damon is assigned to watch me, Claire Carter. I didn't know he was assigned to me when I was so young. I guess he was. He has watched over me for years, and little did I know he was about to enroll in my school. He is supposed to protect me from evil, but I don't know why evil is even after me? They say its normal for 'you' to fall for your guardian angel, but this was different, and almost immediate. But, its forbidden for an angel and human to be together, especially when the angel is their gaurdian. Looks like were in for some trouble, in so many ways!
