[UNEDITED] Genesis Anderson knew fairy tales with happy endings didn't exist but that never made her feel indifferent about them. That is, until the night she sees a beast for herself. When she wakes the next morning in an unfamiliar room, in an unfamiliar town, her newly acquired werewolf abilities are the least of her worries. She soon learns she's been accused of a murder, and the victim? The former Alpha. Locked away by the brother of the man she supposedly killed, Genesis realizes she must fight to prove her innocence, and navigate her new life in a pack that's already rejected her, if she ever wants to make it out alive. But even as the line between enemies and foes, as well as hate and love begins to blur, a looming darkness threatens to destroy all of wolf kind and mankind. And even in this make-believe fairy tale, Genesis learns happy endings still aren't given nor promised. ✨Werewolf Week - featured 10/26/20✨ ✨From Our Stars - featured 2/9/21✨

When Everly Reed collides with the cynical and devilishly handsome Mason Valdez, she knows trouble is ahead, but she never could have guessed how much she would be drawn to the storm. ***** Nineteen-year-old Ever Reed likes when things make sense. Which is probably why she excels at math, enough to secure her a spot at an Ivy League school out of state. Sheltered by her mother and older brother Asher for most of her life, Ever hasn't experienced much of the world, but she knows New York will be an adventure. Enter Mason Valdez: cynical, arrogant, and undeniably attractive-exactly what Ever doesn't need. But as their paths keep crossing, Ever finds herself intrigued by Mason, and eager to know the boy behind the bitter mask. As secrets, scars, and painful pasts rise to the surface, Ever knows one thing for sure: they can only make it through if they face their storms together. Some people are born into a world they never asked for. His eyes were the brightest part of him. The emerald contrasted from his raven hair, the dark stubble along his jaw, his toffee complexion, and the dark ink embedded in his skin. Long, jet lashes border his eye's waterline, complementing the vibrant irises even more. His deep-set eyes create a more prominent brow bone, emphasizing the slight scar above his left brow. He uses his eyes to distract from his scar, in avoidance of anybody questioning it. He's aware of how alluring his eyes can be, therefore he uses it to his advantage. The darkness behind his life hides behind the brilliance in his gaze. These irises are the only light in his twisted life, so it gives him hope that one day the world can be just as bright as his eyes.

[BOOK THREE] "Falling in love was never a plan, Minnie." I sighed, fingers reaching up to rub my temples as I blinked my very translucent eyelids. "I was never courting death. No pun intended. And now I'm quite literally a few thousand feet underground, possibly dead, and in love with an eon-old spirit. What else could happen?" *** She had honest to god tried so hard as to stay out of harm's way. However, Addison's new found friendship with Death himself was enough to force her to make the worst decision of her life: Jump in front of a poisonous dart that could kill off an immortal god-like being just so she could protect the cynical spirit she had fallen in love with. Oh, and was it mentioned that the spirit was actually Death himself and had been trying to kill her off just a year ago? Yeah, that happened. Now stuck in the underworld of hell itself, Addison needs to find her way back to the land of the living. With only one of her best friends, Minnie Hoover, as a companion through this deadly (not so much for her since she's already stone cold dead) mission, as well as the said spirit by her side, the blonde stunner has five days to find her way back to life before she would be shipped off into the reincarnation system. And thus losing herself, and her friends, forever. How hard could it be? After all, Addison didn't need to worry about being stabbed in the back again (in every sense of the word). Perhaps all it takes is the one thing she tried to avoid from the beginning. A kiss from Death himself. ***** Highest Rank Fantasy: #7

[BOOK TWO] "Anniversaries to some are like counting the years spent doing something great, years spent together, or years spent alive." I started slowly, voice dropping to a drawl as I peeked cautiously out of my bedroom blinds, scanning the road to see if there was a cloaked figure watching my every movement. "I view anniversaries as counting down the days till death finds me." *** After the events of her wonderfully packed 21st birthday, Addison was ready to retire back into her home and never again see the light of day. It wasn't a totally bad idea. After all, her family's generations-old riches was enough to tide her over until the day her past finally catches on, and until that day finally arrives, she had no intention to step out of her front door. And to think the last time she did, she ended up in the game of cat and mouse with a cynical hooded spirit that wanted her dead and her soul in a glass bottle for his own little sadistic collection. Silence had followed the whole year after the disastrous party. For nearly 365 days, Addison had no trouble with unwanted evil celestial beings lurking around her house in an attempt to take her soul away with a world-stopping kiss. However, the silence was too often, and the world had become too quiet. Reason being? Apparently, Death's new move was to kidnap her best friend Minnie Hoover in an attempt to bait her down to hell itself. Life became much quieter without one-third of her little clique. And so Addison ventured away from the safety of her home, in search of her best friend. After all, silence creeps the heart just as death does, and the world was now deadly silent. ***** Highest Rank Fantasy: #9 Highest Rank Teen Fiction: #77
