Skye Johnston always wished her life would have been different. She never had a mom, and the thought of her mom leaving her kept her from sleeping. When Skye is assigned to write a fiction story by her language arts teacher, Mr. Stalrin, she writes about the life she wishes she had. As she continues to write she realizes that if she can find her mom, her life would be normal. But will she be able to? And if she does, will her mom actually want to come home?
