Sidekicks. The sad, ever-suffering excuses of heroes - a title you tack onto someone who's trying, just not hard enough. Few can shed this sad label and pave their own path. I intend to be one of them. The heroes are crowding enough of the spotlight, in my opinion. It's time for me to step up. I just know I can do it - I'll be the undoing of sidekicks. ≈ standalone extension to the undoing of heroes' universe. ✎ completed cover: @narwhelly

Villains. Heroes. Try as they might, one is always bested by the other, an endless fight without true meaning. We all have to pick our sides, but I think it's outdated. We all need to toe the line - to really satisfy our purpose. That's where I come in. Not only the undoing of villains, but the remaking of heroes. It's time for everyone to welcome a new chess piece on the board. Check mate. ≄ completed ✓ standalone highest rank in sf: #180 cover: @narwhelly

Heroes. Ever since they showed up, people have gone soft. They're adored, worshipped. Devotion is showered upon them like rain. It's about time someone knocks them off that pedestal they stand on, someone to crush their pillars of faith. Someone like me. A villain. It's perfect. I'll be the undoing of heroes. ≠ disclaimer: very much needs to be edited, very much needs to be less corny and very much needs to be entirely rewritten by me. if you approach it as a goofy, corny, old 2015-esque superhero book then it'll be a great time. i'll be honest and say there are no pulitzers here. completed ✓ highest rank in sf: #9 cover: @narwhelly

A senior witchling is forced to team up with her nemesis, an angel in training, in order to protect their academy and its students from old foes stirring in the shadows. *** Stoneport Academy is a haven for divine beings and creatures of the dark alike, not that they necessarily enjoy sharing it. It has been declared neutral ground since the passing of the Faerie Accords, and that is the only thing keeping Callie Karr from plowing her fist into Nathaniel Gaumont's perfectly irritable face. Despite the Accords, a series of students go missing under suspicious circumstances at the beginning of their final year, all supernaturals. Tensions rise as whispers of an old enemy wreathed in shadow and death rock the community. Callie will go to any lengths to protect her coven; Nathaniel will do whatever it takes to protect his academy. Together, they'll have to bridge their differences and put a stop to this new foe, no matter the cost. *** in progress updates: fri

A genius analyst has to leave her desk behind and team up with the sour Agency hothead to track down her missing partner. ----- Quinn O'Reilly doesn't belong in the field. She's better off as the brilliant intelligence analyst behind some of the Agency's biggest arrests, and more than comfortable surrounded by her screens. Special Agent Cameron Kent, Agent Quinn's primary partner, is the pro carrying out the plans formulated with Quinn's brainpower. She's the closest thing to family Quinn's ever had. She's also missing, having dropped off the map in the middle of an undercover operation. There is no one better suited to find Cam than Quinn. There is no one better suited than Gavin Locke, agency hothead, to protect her in the meantime. With clues left all around the world, this unlikely pair will have to pick up the pace to find Cam in time - and avoid killing each other in the process. It's time for Special Agent O'Reilly to step forward - and into the field. ----- standalone, 150k words completed
