Magic is supposed to be easy; there's Black, White, and Green Magic, and once a Witch picks a path, that's really all she has to worry about. But for Darlena Agara, things just keep getting harder. She's torn between her best friend's choice of the Black path, and her on-again, off-again boyfriend's choice of the White path, so she tries to stall, waiting for divine inspiration. Darlena isn't expecting the form it takes, though. Hecate, the goddess of witchcraft, shows up in her living room and pressures her to choose her path, and Lena does something stupid; she declares that she'll be a Red Witch, something that doesn't exist...or does it? Daughter of Chaos is the first book in the Red Magic series, and I'm happy to share it here with you! Enjoy! If you want to read the rest of the series, book two is called Gods of Chaos, and book three is Triumph of Chaos. Both are available wherever books or eBooks are sold.

Psychosis - a severe mental disorder in which thought and emotions are so impaired that contact is lost with external reality. Jaina Falvey is not your average teenager. She's long disciplined herself to keep her mind fixed on the task at hand and succeeds extremely well at it, juggling school, an overpaying job, and extracurricular activities all with excellent performance. Something else has happened to Jaina however that few people know about, and that is the tragic death of her twin sister that she witnessed, the mysterious death of her father when she was four, and her diagnosis of post traumatic stress disorder after remembering strange traumatic events from her early childhood. With all this on her plate, Jaina has little time to worry about the normal teen drama, guys, and serious relationships except for the one good boyfriend she has. However, when her strange coworker begins playing with her, flirting with her, and touching her, she can't help but be concerned. But feelings change from concerned to pure panicked when he kidnaps her and murders her boyfriend before her very eyes one late night...or so she thought? The next thing she knows, Jaina is waking up in the school parking lot and her boyfriend is alive. Now, she can't seem to stop jumping from scenario to scenario and can't tell which is dream and which is reality, something her psychiatrist diagnoses her with as psychosis. And as life goes on, life gets stranger, as Jaina finds herself going from living the life of a teenage girl working a part time job in high school, to being kidnapped, to being sent to a mental hospital, to being forced into servitude. Is this all really just psychosis? And if so... Which is the dream and which is reality? Because her feelings are out of control and she begins to find herself falling in love with a rich criminal, kidnapper, and murderer. But is even he for real? Or is it all just a dream? Born into a family full of century-old dark secrets, Khloe is cursed with the ghosts and spirits of her ancestors. From the time she was a baby to the sixteen years she is today, Khloe has never experienced mercy from the spirits that taunt her every day, and the paranormal activity only grows worse. Hearing voices and sensing spirits is not the only curse Khloe carries with her, though. Her mother, Elila, has kept her isolated from the world and has controlled her every move since she discovered the curse, but has kept the story behind it all to herself. After losing her father to suicide when she was fourteen, Khloe thought her life couldn't get any worse--but Elila proved her wrong. Abused by her mother and stepfather, the victim of her stepsister's psychotic games, a slave in her own house, and her mother's new source of income, Khloe knows that the only reason she lives is for those around her. But things get twisted when Elila makes a business partnership with one of her close friends, Cleo, and it involves Khloe. Not only does she find herself becoming entangled in her mother's manipulative games and underground economy, but she begins to realize that she is not her mother's beloved daughter...she is her profit. Will she ever know anything other than the life of a victim, and the life of a servant to whoever pays her mother best? The desire for freedom becomes Khloe's new source of motivation as she begins to discover the true character of those around her, and she swears to make one thing known... ...Khloe Taylor is not for sale to the highest bidder. ------------------------------------------------ WARNING: GRAPHIC CONTENT (Violence) #320 in Paranormal #319 in Paranormal #529 in Paranormal #260 in Paranormal
