It's interesting that every nine seconds a woman is assaulted by their intimate partner in this country alone, and our response is to sweep it under the proverbial rug. Domestic Violence is a cycle, and abusers have most likely been abused. It's time to out the secret, speak up and be heard. We don't have to be victims of abuse.
