After Damon and Bonnie's death, Caroline went after the emotionless Stefan to help him get his humanity back. She finds him in the very specific City that the one and only original hybrid lived in. Which she had a thing for him, and already admitted that to him in his last visit back in mystic falls in the woods. Caroline will deal with the hardheaded Stefan and the endless problems in New Orleans. and Klaus .

It's been six months since Caroline graduated high school and she is still stuck in Mystic Falls, fighting Silas and trying to find Stefan. When the world seems to fall apart around her, Caroline makes a decision; to go to New Orleans and ask for help from the person they spent so much time figthing: Klaus. But as it seems he just couldn't help but adore the unique charm of Verity Salvatore. So when he and the two Salvatore brothers leave mystic falls for a while on behalf of 'Buisness' he leaves her a slightly unprofessional 'Babysitter'.
