The door flung open into the dark room, lightening struck the dark sky shining a little light on the shirtless man that stood by the doorway. "Who's there" my shaky voice masked with fear asked. Paying a deaf ear to my question he walked deeper into the room towards my bed as my shaky hands drew the covers higher over my whimpering self, right up to my nose. "Khalil?" my voice sounded weird coming through the thick duvet, it felt awkward calling his name I mean am I even allowed to call him that? I was more scared now that I knew who it was. What was he doing in room? A loud thunder sound came as he sat beside me, a little too close. Does this man know he's shirtless and in my room at eleven p.m? "Have you chosen a surrogate?" his thick voice cut through the sound of raindrops and my train of thoughts. I slowly shook my head at him. "Relax"He raised his hand to my face which was still covered halfway and slowly dragged down the covers down to my abdomen revealing my bare arms in my spaghetti strap v neck nightwear. I scanned the room for my robe and found it hanging on the coat rack in the far end of my room, I would get up to get it but my nightgown didn't really qualify as a gown. I watched his eyes travel up my body landing on my chest, his Adams apple bobbed up. He shut his eyes and when he opened them, they landed on mine sending shivers down my spine... I suddenly froze not knowing what to do I just stood there watched him unable to talk or move or do anything. I looked at his blazing eyes turn darker and darker with anger and all of a sudden fear took over me I started shaking thinking of what will come after and then he sneered and his nose was flaring, at that point I was just waiting for him to smack me , it's all my fault I shouldn't have said those things to him I should have let it slide but I just had to open my stupid mouth and now he is going to kill me but then all of a sudden after what felt like eons he let go of the tight grip he had on my wrist and the anger in his eyes turned to contempt and then to that same uninterested look he wears all the time and then he turned and just walked away leaving me staring at his back like a dimwitd oaf " what the hell just happens" I heard the question being asked.
