What Shizuo didn't know was that Izaya had been suffering. He had been alone for as long as he could remember and the only purpose he found in his life was trying to get Shizuo's attention. But when Shizuo gave up, so did Izaya. No one knew. Izaya always loved humans, but since he didn't consider himself a human, he couldn't love himself.

Izaya is on a little trip when he observes human behavior that he's not too familiar with, in the smallest of humans that is.

The pressures of accepting love for the first time, really hit hard. Can he learn to accept it and give his love back, or will he make one of the biggest mistakes of his life?

Izaya Orihara has an abnormally high frequency, 125, when usually frequencies don't go over 100. He's gifted, lucky, and always seems to be in the right place at the right time. The only side effect: His lack of empathy or emotion. Shizuo Heiwajima on the other hand, has an abnormally low frequency. -7. He's unlucky, chance is never on his side, and though he's brilliant, he can never quite catch up to the rest of his class. His life is a side effect. The two are brought together by curious peers, only able to meet for a minute a year. Izaya craves the experimentation, but Shizuo begins to want something else. How can these two polar opposites ever come together? (Based on the movie Frequencies, I do not own the movie nor do I own the characters)
