🏆 Watty's 2020 Winner 🏆 Featured on Wattpad's Fresh Reads SCREAM meets THE CONJURING in this classic, slasher novel with a predominantly Black cast of characters. Mardi Gras is the best time to live in New Orleans. When rehab escapee, Dmitri, and his friends, including his ex, Anisa, hang out at a newly renovated Airbnb for a weekend of drinking, twerking, and parades, they find out how hard it is to stay alive. Black people and horror movie scenarios usually don't mix. Will Anisa ever forgive him for the end of their relationship? Will they survive the night to find out if it's really meant to be? T/W for graphic violence and mentions of sexual assault. Content Warning: Drugs/Alcohol and Language

Hollywood star Jess Kellerman heads to her childhood home in a small midwestern town to celebrate her father's birthday and her brother's first big professional success, but when she discovers signs of extreme violence in her father's house, she goes in search of answers. Each answer only leads to more questions until Jess finds herself struggling to separate real life from the fictional worlds she creates for her adoring public. The question is, what... or whom... is she willing to sacrifice to keep their love? Please check out the author's note for other information and content warnings. This is my Nanowrimo 2020 project and was being posted as I wrote it, so I appreciate your understanding about any bumps in the road.

This is a prequel to Legends from The Warlock's Chair - Ravengaard. The Warlock's Chair. A place of magic and adventure. Long ago when the world was young the Faerie races ruled far and wide across the lands of the Earth. Then with the coming of Man, they disappeared into myth and legend. But they had survived, hidden away in the secret places known only to a very few humans. Eighteenth century England. The Harcourt family leave the clamour and filth of London for the peace and quiet of rural Shropshire. But for those who live at Ravengaard Manor life has never been peaceful or quiet. Soon the three Harcourt children find their lives changed forever by the magical lands that surround the hills of The Warlock's Chair. This is their first adventure. They meet the water dragon Mirrorglow who takes them to the mystical underwater world of Wyr'anthos. They learn of the Qrill, evil crab-like warriors who have kidnapped her son Nightfire and are holding him prisoner. And they set out to invade the Qrill citadel and rescue him before they can put their evil plans into operation. It is a short story, the first one I wrote for my children. I have given it a bit of a tweak. This is the first part... enjoy (hopefully)
