Percy gets sick at school and Sally is out of town at a writers conference so Paul has to take him home and take care of him. When Percy's fever gets really high, what will Paul do? Can he take care of a sick Percy by himself, or will he need help? On top of all this a snow storm seems to be blowing in. And even more oddly is the fact that Percy is actually sick. Percy NEVER gets sick. EVER. Is something making Percy sick? Read to find out! I'm Paul Blofis, English Teacher at Goode High School and step-father to the modern hero Percy Jackson. This is the story of how I came to fall in love with Sally Jackson, how I met her son, and how I became part of a world few believe in and fewer know exists.

This is after the Titans curse Sally picked up Percy from camp. Sally wants to talk about his quest and percy starts crying, blaming himself for Bianca's death and for Nico running away and percy meets Paul.

*Not your typical Paul meets Percy story.* Paul Blofis was in one word, nervous to meet Percy Jackson for the first time. The Percy that Sally described was completely different from the one his school records described, and Paul wasn't sure which one to believe. One thing he knew for sure was that no matter what his future stepson turned out to be, would love him like a son. Completed.
