Violet Scott hadn't always had a hatred towards Emmett Owens until the 10th grade. At that age People are forced to change themselves to fit in or be apart of specific crowds, and because of one rumor Emmett spread about Violet their friendship took a turn for the worst. Now they both hate each other and every time they see each other they're fighting. Over the summer Violet starts talking and eventually dating keith landers without knowing he is Emmett's best friend. But a certain event happens a few months later causing the two enemies to work together to find the culprit of Keith's murder.

This isn't a deep book about first loves or self-discovery. If you want a book like that, I'd be happy to recommend one, but I don't have that kind of story to tell. Instead my story is about rash decisions and finding out that your dream guy is bad in bed. It's the story of when I finally went skinny dipping, and how my life was never the same again. Oh, and it's also the story of my freshman year of college and realizing Mr. Right might have been there all along.
