Inej returns to Ketterdam after successfully bringing down a slaver. She spends an evening gathering information in the city before returning to the Slat for a ~romantic~ reunion with Kaz. I actually really like the way the series ends for the two of them, but I couldn't help but imagine what a Kanej love scene would look like anyway. (this is Six of Crows/ Crooked Kingdom fanfiction, set after Crooked Kingdom) credits to Leigh Bardugo for the characters and world and original stories, of course.
