"I sit in the corner of my cell, crying until the tears stop running and I am empty. I am alone. The only company I have is the constant drip of the leaking ceiling as droplets of water fall onto the floor of my cold, damp cell. Distant footsteps approaching my cell break me out of my silent reverie. I hold my breath as the footsteps become louder and closer. My heart is beating in my throat. The bars of my cell fly open with a deafening screech. The silhouette of a man stands before me. He is holding something in his hand. As the moonlight streams thought the bars in my window and reflects off the object, it becomes evident to me what it is. A blade. So, they have changed their minds- They are going to kill me."
