I laid there lifeless as I was being beat by a whip. I cried and begged for him to stop but he just kept beating me. I saw my life flash before my eyes as I closed my eyes, I saw my grandma. She said "don't let this man kill you. Be stronger than that, fight.." she said as her voice faded. My eyes opened up to see a light from the ceiling.
