Things are unstable at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. A chilled feeling of unease has replaced any sense that the castle could remain a safe haven to teach and learn magic. With the misfortunes of the previous year behind them, Fred and George arrive to find the castle infested with bats, launching rumors that there may be a vampire at the school. Although the twins have returned in high spirits, poised to claim new ground as pranksters and as Beaters for the Gryffindor team, nothing is ever easy for the Boy Who Was Twins. The new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher has it out for them, detentions are piling up, and with Albus Dumbledore gravely ill and near-fatal accidents occurring on and off the Quidditch pitch, a fear of death looms. As school life becomes more than problematic by the day, an enemy of Professor Quirrell arrives to wreak havoc and an evil presence makes itself known in the forbidden forest. A presence that will challenge everything. Will the twins be pushed beyond their limits when things go from difficult to dire? Who is the mysterious Alchemist, Nicholas Flamel? And how will the events of the year draw Fred and George closer to their destiny? =================== :: Updates for FRED AND GEORGE AND THE ELIXIR OF LIFE: Hopefully every other day. That one night still haunts me; just like the 'Blackmailer' from my present. Oh and yes, there's a boy. There always is one, right? But will it lead to anything? Since I'm a hooded hijabi. [ "If dunya is your focus then quite frankly I don't know the answer to your question either. However, Ali, we keep forgetting the real purpose of our life which is why we fail to attain peace. After not seeing each other for nearly eight years, Justin and Laila are suddenly forced to spend the entire summer together. Now if that's not bad enough, Justin and Laila couldn't be more opposite from each other. At first it's plainly clear to everyone that they're just not going to get along at all. But the more Justin and Laila actually get to know each other - and when they aren't fighting over something stupid - the two slowly realize that maybe there are things in life they'll need each other to figure out. If Justin is arrogant, snarky, and just a bit too handsome for his own good, then Laila may just end up going insane. And if Laila's clever, quick-witted, and beyond pretty, then God help Justin. So the same thought on both of their minds? Is this going to be the summer of a life time or what?
