Enter Leo Fitzgerald. He's your typical Canadian seventeen year-old guy-- that is, until the big move makes him become your typical American seventeen year-old. He likes books, he likes cars, he likes dogs, he's ambivalent towards sports. Fairly typical, right? Enter Jo Underwood. She's different, and she's hiding something. She's not like most sixteen year-old girls. She has an orange GTO, she plays the ukulele, her ex-best friend is a Hollywood heartthrob, and she wears black-eyed Susan's in her hair. Not so typical, right? Leo just can't seem to figure her out... but that doesn't mean he won't try. This coming-of-age, raw story captures the adventures and misadventures of a heartbroken girl and her clueless partner in crime.
