This book is a Hunger Games Fanfiction about A 16 year old girl named Katniss Everdeen. This story is based in Arizona, USA. 21st century. (not continuing off last hunger games book, not hunger games in a different pov)

On arriving in Columbus she comes face to face which what seems to be the apocalypse. The dead are walking, but will the living be walking for long?

Angel Dixon is the younger sister of Daryl and Merle. Smart, feisty and independent, she goes to search for her brothers as her mother's dying command. But when she finds Daryl, and she steps into a world full of mistrust, tragedy and horror, will she be able to survive?

I feel immediately guilty for what I am about to say, especially since he saved my life by giving me bread. "So I have been thinking this over in my head and it seems that this is the only choice I have in order to make it home to Prim." I start. "Katniss?..." He says. He doesn't like what I am saying and I haven't even gotten to the worst part yet. "I know you want to make it back home to your family and I know that you are a part of my District, but I need to make it home to Prim!" I say, tears threatening to fall, I feel awful for what I am doing. Peeta looked extremely worried by this point. "What's wrong? What happened- " I cut him off " I'm... I'm... joining...the careers."
