" @nagykt "Reading this feeds my soul." @Yrthraethra Sixteen-year-old Mirra can see people's memories. She is a Shadow Weaver, one of the outlawed, glitter-eyed race feared in her land and forced into brutal slavery as children. She and her brother Kel have escaped their fate by hiding near the frozen mountains. But when bounty hunters snatch Kel, Mirra injured and unable to track long distances will lose him unless she gives herself up to his captors. As as a Shadow Weaver who's survived childhood and whose golden-flecked irises have faded, concealing her talent, Mirra's own value is priceless on the black-market. Taken to a lawless town in the northern territories, Mirra convinces her captors to sell her to a mysterious young man destined for the same province as the officer who has bought her brother. The young man is the Kingdom's missing Prince, feared dead after his escort was attacked on an expedition. He has been in hiding, waiting for a Shadow Weaver whose skill he can use to discover who ordered his assassination. But before he will risk breaking his father's law and taking Mirra to the royal court, he must test her talent and her ability to hide it. If Mirra fails, her hopes of seeing her brother again will be cut by the noose around her neck. "Hands down one of the best books I've read on Wattpad! I absolutely love this story! ❤" - DilettanteAmateur Lennon opened her apartment door to find Kade standing on the other side. He wore a bored expression, his hands in his pockets. His whole appearance reeked of hard earned casualness. His dark brown hair was carelessly pushed off to the side. He had dark eyes and handsome, defined features. "Hi," she said. It was one thing to see his face in the magazines or on TV but another thing to have him standing at her front door. "Please, come in," she said after a brief pause. "Let's get some things straight," he said, breezing past her without a polite hello. "I'm not your friend or your buddy and especially not your boyfriend. Everything I say to you when we are "together" will probably be a lie. This is a job, not a relationship. And lastly," he turned and looked her up and down coolly. "Don't fall in love with me." "Got it. Would you like something to drink?" she asked, a bright smile plastered on her face. One year. One year and Lennon will have the music career she has been working for. For only one year she has to put up with Kade Matthews, lead singer to America's number one pop band and newly reformed play boy. Or so that's what his manager says. Lennon is Kade's answer to moving beyond his past. Can Kade be Lennon's as well? "This book has been breaking down so many cliches I'm impressed 👏👏👏" - Yokuwakaranai "This book was a breath of fresh air! 💕" - ToryJasper "This book is amazing and their feelings toward each other were played perfectly and at the right time. ❤" - SurabhiiiA "...I just wanted you to know that your ability to write realistic and interesting characters that make you want to go 16 hours without sleeping(as I did) is an amazing gift..." - triplem010314 #1 in Girl Power #1 Clean #2 in Fiction #3 in Chicklit #9 in Teen Fiction #8 in Romance Started August 12th 2016 Completed Dece

"You can't get away with killing us!!" The declaration echoed through the dimly lit room, met with unexpected amusement from the blood-drinking demon. He chuckled, a sinister sound that reverberated off the walls as if he'd heard the funniest joke in eons. "Relax, children," the demon drawled with a sickly sweet tone. "I have no intention of killing any of you. My plans are far grander. From this moment forward, the world you've known will cease to exist. You are to become the servants of others for the greater good." A heavy silence fell over the room. Cami scanned the faces of her friends, noting their expressions of confusion and terror. Some girls wept openly, while others struggled futilely against the burly men who held them down. Unable to suppress her rising dread, Cami's voice trembled as she broke the silence. "W-what are you t-talking about?" The demon's eyes glittered with a malevolent delight as he leaned closer, his grin widening. "Darling, you're about to become an immortal slave." For Cami Santiago, summer break was supposed to be a time of carefree fun with friends. But their idyllic escape turns into a nightmare when they discover that the stranger who followed them to their remote cabin harbors a diabolical plan. Faced with the terror of human trafficking, Cami and her friends are thrust into a world far more sinister than they imagined. The true horror reveals itself as they learn that their fate is not merely in the hands of wicked individuals, but ancient Gods and Goddesses who run a cruel selection process. Only the "best" are spared in this macabre game of survival, and Cami finds herself deemed a prime candidate for the gods' twisted entertainment. As she and her friends grapple with their grim reality, Cami must navigate a treacherous path where the divine and monstrous intertwine, and her fight for freedom becomes a desperate struggle against ancient forces.
