Viggo and Ryker were long gone, the Dragon Eye in their possession. But what was worrying the gang was that Hiccup was not himself. Astrid was worried for him, the other Riders not seen how he reacted when Astrid told him he was long gone . . .

What happens when you finally realize that the one you think you'll love for the rest of the life, was just right by your side? Specifically taming dragons and sharpening our tools? I never thought I'd look at Hiccup this way. It's unexpected, I guess.

Astrid Hofferson's father is abusive. After a while, her mother gets strong enough to leave him and takes Astrid with her. Months past and her mom begins to date again, only for the man to become abusive. Astrid grows up to start liking and dating bad boys and she allows them to hurt her, because that's all she's ever really seen a guy do. She attends a new school after moving into a new house with her mom and settling in. She meets a boy named Hiccup and thinks, 'Why would he be any different?'

When he lost her , he lost his life. His kindness , his courage , his personality. She was right , he lost everything , his father ,his best friend and now his wife. His daughter is the only thing that left, but he can not see her.

This story is the sequel to 'That Divine Beauty' so if you haven't read it I highly suggest it before reading this one. Summary: Everything on Berk is perfect... Or so everybody thinks. Hiccup has accepted being chief and has made peace treaties with most of the nearby islands, finally fulfilling Astrid's dreams. But what happens when an old "friend" comes for a visit? Is everything on Berk really that perfect?

What happens when Astrid and Hiccups love life escalates? When intruders invade Berk? When arguments occur? Will Hiccup and Astrid make it through this, what will happen to Berk, and will changes break the gang up or pull them closer together? Author's Note: The first few chapter focus mainly on some Hicstrid fluff and it takes place after the events in How To Train Your Dragon 2. I wrote this story before Race to Edge came out so nothing from that is in here. Astrid's name means Divine Beauty in Old Norse, divine meaning godly (hint the title name). I will try to update as quick as possible you'll just have to bare with me. Also i do not own How to Train Your Dragon or anything related (characters, themes, ect.). After stumbling upon Mala's tribe, Hiccup jumps at the chance to be allies with these guys in a fight against Viggo.
