[Adopted from Guzmasboi and Meowth01] "Look, Baby," Caleb smirked, his buff arms crossed in front of his massive chest as he blocked the doorway. "I know that you're not exactly thrilled with the idea of being my mate; and for that, I apologize and swear that I'll make it all better." I rolled my eyes, and was unable to hide my grimace. "Whatever," I began throwing my hands up in the air. "Caleb, I-" "No," He interrupted, holding up his hand. "No, I believe I already told you to call me Daddy. So like it or not, Baby, you're mine. Got it? Legally, your mind and there's no way I'm ever letting you go." __________________________ Werewolves are known to the general public, resulting in human being the subservient species. As a federal law, humans are forced to undergo a test to see if they're a carrier of the Mating Gene: a DNA mutation that makes a human capable of being a werewolf's mate. If positive, they practically become the property of their werewolf mate. Dakota, a sixteen-year-old human with a serious attitude, tests positive for the Mating Gene. The werewolf he's paired up with is Caleb, an older man who insists Dakota calls him "Daddy," and who strives to do nothing more than to make his new mate happy with him. Caleb proves to be madly in love with his new mate and definitely has a major possessive streak to him. However, it soon becomes apparent that Caleb has a disorder in which his inner wolf takes control of his human body each time the sun goes down. His inner wolf has one goal in mind: "Knot mate as soon as possible"

Cooper Bradenton hates high school- most likely because his fellow werewolf classmates are assholes and treat him as the gay loner outcast. He has never been that guy- the popular jock with great grades, the powerful warrior with incredible skills and proud parents, or the talented tracker that his pack relies on. Cooper finds that he's best at cursing unnecessarily, snarking back in the worst situations, and consuming chocolate Pop tarts at alarming rates. However, Cooper's foundation is shaken when a certain Beta comes into town and the two discover that they are mates- predestined to fall in love. As Beta of the Dark Wood Pack, Axel has to maintain a certain level of control. He has a routine that he religiously follows and he never strays from it. The crunch of bones underneath his paws, the slide of blood between his fingertips- they all leave him satisfied. None of that even comes close to the joy he feels when he finds his mate, Cooper. Unfortunately, Cooper's home and school life isn't the easiest, and the two hour distance between their packs complicates their relationship. Axel must, for the first time ever, give up a bit of control when Cooper refuses to be bossed around.
