When I was a toddler, my parents discovered me in my room playing with and imaginary friend I repeatedly called Jesus. As I grew older, however, that friend and I got separated because I saw the beauty of the fire and mud. I played in its circle, I swam in its pool. Years later, Jesus revealed Himself to me. Not really in a way that I got to visit and experience heaven or hell. A few of His messengers preached His gift of salvation to me from high school until now, making me understand that the friend I called Jesus died for the likes of me: a sinner. God loves us, whoever we are. Whether we are the best or the worst children, the most obedient or the most unruly, preacher or criminal, whatever walks we have in life, God demonstrated to us His love by sending His son Jesus to die for us and redeem our souls. The moment we realize this, the journey with our Lord begins.
