Every dusk, he marries a new woman; and by dawn, he has slit her throat. It is a vicious cycle of murder and torment of girls and their families. When the ruthless king sets his sights on the sister of Zeinab Nejem, Zeinab knows that she will never let a monster win. She decides to take her sister's place, to survive longer than any other one of King Kadar's wives, and then, when the time comes, to murder him the way he murdered so many. © Copyright 2017 by Lily White. One fateful night. One college party. That was all it took for Kira's world to start crumbling down around her. Life had seemed like such a Hollywood movie, I had great friends, I adored my parents, I had just finished college and then BOOM. One domino fell down, the rest shortly followed. I had waited, what seemed like, a very long time to meet my soul mate. As a Lycan, finding my other half was essential to life, not to mention my sanity. As I stood amongst the rubble of my crushed hopes and dreams, not knowing where to turn or how to move on was my biggest challenge. The Moon Goddess promised I'd be alright, that everything would turn out alright. With no other option, I continued on, fighting to defend my honour and what was left of my family. Then I met him. The big scary Alpha, the one everyone talked about and called 'cursed'. Our connection was instant, although it was also beyond impossible. He wasn't mine to claim but I still struggled to keep my hopes from rising. Trying my best to ignore his hulking god-like presence was a task and a half but I had to push on. I knew whatever life had in store for me it wouldn't be fulfilled there; with him. It only took a night under the full moon to change how I saw everything, to uncover the path the Moon Goddess paved for me. I broke under the pressure but I wasn't scared, I knew I wouldn't be crushed. If he was by my side I would survive anything, and with me by his side he would be protected. If it was the last thing I did.

"What are you doing here at night?" he whispered. Her breath caught in her throat. The urge to run, the instinct to scream--everything seemed to freeze as his golden eyes pierced through hers... One death seems insignificant to a world of troubles - yet when a beautiful woman is suddenly murdered, it alters not only the lover's destiny and the villain's fate, but the future of the kingdom itself. A Tale Of Love And Revenge Unlike his older brother, he had been the one who had denied his condition with every fiber of his being. Who had caged the wolf in an indestructible cage, which was buried deep down in the abyss of his soul. There had been moments in his long life, where his bones had ached; longing to change into the beast that lived inside him. There was no way in hell to get rid of it for good, but he had managed to shut that part of him up, to dim the light of it's beaming presence. He had suffocated the words, which his wolf would whisper to him when it was silent, with words of literature. Jasper had tamed the wolf and made it his lapdog. But then he met her.
