There has been peace for sixty years, but a group of dreamers is still fighting. Meet Audra Forman, a high school student that loses her societal power when she fails an exam. Now part of the poorest class in her civilization, she must learn how to survive without compromising what she believes in. Along the way, she meets others like her, including an idealistic aristocrat who dreams of creating change but must first find a way to change himself, and an impoverished, but spirited classmate, who fights to protect her home and her life. With their help, Audra finally begins to accept her new situation, but with her past among the privileged and her present among the downtrodden, knowing what to believe is right becomes increasingly difficult.
